my great grandmother would cry her eyes out whilst talking about the partition. it was such a dark time for them. her best friend was a Sikh woman, whom she asked about when she had dementia, Wanted to know when she'll be back to meet her again 😢

Both sides lost when the separation happened, on the whole everyone respects one another today, only a few on all sides that pokes the old wounds to keep them fresh, why? What’s wrong with living in harmony with others around regardless or race, religion, gender, sexual orientation? Were on borrowed time, make the most of it 🙏
