I work at an aged care and as i was cleaning a residents room they had a dementia dog plush on their recliner and when i barked at me i jumped so high 😭 they really do help people though you can see it instantly!

“get him a dog!!” dementia and having to take care of stuff do not mix well, they would forget to feed the dog and it will die, or they will over feed it to much and the dog will become unhealthy and also die there are lots of risk that’s why dementia pets exist

I work at two assisted living homes and we have these in the dementia/Alzheimer’s wings. They love their pets 😭
