I have a degree in biochemistry and over 30 years professional experience. WE HARDLY KNOW ANYTHING!!! The pride and arrogance is absurd. We can’t duplicate what a single chloroplast can do. We can’t even estimate the log of reactions & feedback mechanisms that occur for a single leaf to be formed. We manipulate processes as life is forming and think ourselves gods. Total pride & lacking of required humility needed to learn and advance.

1 argument that seems logical is that earth remained life dormant for 3 billion years until a rock landed in the sea that contained a basic life form that introduced the Biosphere (Panspermia). The argument is that the universe is so big and life only occurred once and then spread by panspermia.
