KERR COUNTY HAD OVER $5 MILL FROM OBAMA AND BIDEN FEMA GRANT THEY PUT UP A STINK THAT IT WAS FEOM ‘SOCIALIST DEMS’ - BUT DIDNT WANT A BLUE STATE TO GET IT. THEY DIDNT SPEND THE $ ON UPDATING ADVANCED ALERT SYSTEMS. THE SHERIFFS OFFICE SPENT IT ON GIVING THEMSELVES ALL 10% RAISES/UPDATING COMM SYSTEMS. THEY SAID THE CAMPS UP RIVER CAN CALL EACH OTHER TO WARN OF FLOODING. READ THE ACTUAL MINS FROM THE LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION MEETING! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY POLITICAL AND WAS COMPLETELY AVOIDABLE. CAMP MYSTIC WAS ALSO NOT ACA ACCREDITED (look it up) IF THEY HAD BEEN THOSE CHILDREN WOULDNT HAVE DIED! DISGRACEFUL, SHAMEFUL AND ASININE.

A report has been made that during the Biden administration, this county was given federal funds for a siren warning system but county board officials declined the funds, deemed it not necessary. There needs to be an in depth investigation into this, so a tragedy like this never happens again. Sending many prayers to the families.
