I thought they looked cool at first, but if they're missing the safety features that you'd think they'd have based on appearance, I'm skeptical. It's like selling hardhats made of papier mache, or reflex vests made with normal acrylic paint - sure, people probably won't confuse them for the real thing and use them the way their design indicates they should be used... but someone might, and then they'd be in actual danger. Motorcycle gear is a life-saving necessity, with rigorous testing & certification, and I think that deliberately copying its appearance is irresponsible.
