@isabella.lauren: Replying to @margaretoleary your 20s can be so hard to navigate idk i DO love NYC i just struggle with it sometimes and i think that is okay & should be talked about ❤️ #nyc #lifeinyour20s
do you live in Manhattan? I'm a little older than you (late 30s, no kids) but I live in Cobble Hill and to me it's so much more chill and cozy than Manhattan.

Ways to meet more people in NYC: get hobbies, do those hobbies, meet people who also like those hobbies.

I love nyc but I can’t stand living in the city. I’m in Williamsburg and it’s the perfect balance for me

New York City is the biggest city. The only real mega city in the US. It makes so many people realize that they really just don’t like cities.

I recently moved to Brooklyn and I love it. Quieter, more greenery, chiller. If you do want to stay in NYC, I think giving BK a try would be smart!

This city is like a toxic relationship. You hate it but don’t want to leave yet lol find a chill neighborhood might help a bit. Try UES, LIC waterfront, or Brooklyn like Greenpoint or Park slope, Boerum Hill

It's ok. There's no law saying that you have to love NY. Lived there for 10 years (2 being during COVID)... would work there temporarily, but would never live there again. There is no calm in NY.

Have you considered new jersey or upstate new york? It'd be a lot more like where you grew up but not as far from the city.

I was born in CT, lived in the city for 3 years, and after Covid moved to Hoboken and the PEACE I FEEL. I know people love to hate Jersey but Hoboken and downtown JC are so much cleaner and less stressful, and I can get back into Manhattan in under 20 mins. 10/10 recommend❤️
