I work for a hotel. We do housekeeping every 4 days that the guest is there. If you want housekeeping outside of those 4 days, it’s a $10 fee. You can still get new towels and your trash taken of course. But for a housekeeper to actually go in your room and clean and change the sheets, it’s every 4 days. And I absolutely hate it lol. It used to be 3 days but it was changed to 4 and I thought 3 days was pushing it. Obviously we clean if you check out. I hate having to be the one to tell these guests that we aren’t coming to clean their room if they are there for 4 days or less. Which is most everyone

i hate people in my room personally, but I also like coming back to my room (assuming I'm gonna all day and like not at a resort) with a made bed. I don't care if they are the same sheets, but a crisp made bed is luxury. regardless, I always tip them per night and not per cleaning

We put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door when we arrive and it stays on until we leave. Nobody coming in our room.
