@foxnews: A former Bath & Body Works manager says she was fired for refusing to use a transgender employee’s pronouns, citing religious objections. Jocelyn Boden, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, filed a discrimination charge with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The filing said she was "chastised and alienated" by employees for her stance. She said she used the employee’s chosen name but could not use male pronouns.
I don’t have a problem with ppl and making them happy but I will say I have a hard time referring to someone as they/them as it’s not correct grammar for me so it doesn’t come naturally. I struggle with this.

weren't yall the same group saying businesses hold the right to serve, kick out, refuse service, and selectively hire however they want? or do you only hold that opinion when it was denying service to a gay couple? they dont want someone on their team who cant even respect a fellow team member, and they chose to remove them. seems well within their rights

Neanderthals forgetting that freedom of speech doesn’t mean you are free of consequences for what you say. Manager could’ve been calling the employee disrespectful names and it’s the same thing, they’ll get fired because it’s constant disrespect. No one wants someone who is intentionally disrespecting someone in their workplace, ever. Especially if it’s a customer who walks in and is being disrespected. If they’re comfortable treating their employee this way, how are they with everyone else?
