The vast majority of people have polyphonic perception. Y'all got to stop getting y'all information off of social media and Google. If you have monophonic perception, you're abnormal. You would be hard pressed to find somebody in this comment section who says they can't hear multiple layers of sound at one time.

So my auditory processing disorder let's me hear each drum line of a song, but doesn't let me understand what my boss is trying to talk to me. Sounding like Charlie Brown's teacher. great 🙄
