the previous CEO said the game was already ready for early access at the start of 2025 it was the new CEO who pushed it back a year my guess is that it's another greedy CEO not wanting to pay the 250 million dollar payout to his employees

The only reason people are mad is because of the publisher who fired people and took away a 250 million dollar bonus (for meeting quota) from the team of subnautica 2 forcing a delay. The game could’ve been 40$ and everything would’ve been fine. KRAFTON would’ve been able to make so much more money off of this game and they still chose to cheep out.

They would have five months and three weeks to work on that an early access taking that long time that’s already been used. It took long enough. I think that was about maybe two or three months you can probably get a semi working build so the maximum problem need for an early access be about a month or two
