The laws that California are pushing is not for quality of consumption. It is for the chickens feelings. These are never-ending and ridiculous. Most of witch only add cost with no actual change to the chickens feelings. California makes most of its laws based on feelings why we are a joke.

essentially because California believes animals have rights, and want to make sure animal bi-products Californians buy come from animals treated ethically. 5 states are mad about California's standards .... so what about the other 45 states?

We voted for the animal welfare laws. Voters agreed that chickens should be able to spread their wings and do a full turn. That’s bare minimum.
