If you like it, buy it without haggling — they make a living selling those things, and they’re also lovely souvenirs. It doesn’t matter if it’s original or not. I don’t think it’s original anyway; it would cost much more.

Oaxaca has many real stones like those my friends own a little city and they find pieces like that every week once someone found 3 mil dollars worth of treasure it probably is real buy they can be found anywhere but my friends city is small and hidden so more are found continuously

Definitely not original because a worker wanted us to buy one when I went to Oaxaca and another worker came and said to not purchase them from anyone who’s selling them since they lie about them being real
