For real tho. Multiple fantasy races are basically humans with alternative features (Pointy ears, Wacky skin colors,horns, etc). So in a world where those races are natural and normal. Regular Humans do seem like an unexplainable and uncanny anomaly

if you have a system where humans can be summoned from another world then the already existing ones are just the descendants of previous summons and the diversity of humans is due to having children with different species. at least that's how I view humans existing in a fantasy world

both opinions are 100% accurate, if the world setting supports the concept that humans are the most alien like species through interaction and role play then it is absolutely awesome. if nothing comes of it then playing a human is is Bland as water

IMO Toril’s humans came from evolution (a parallel to the real world) - In the Days of Thunder they are described as primitive, tool users who inhabit caves. Hence no creation myth.
