O Sokka cresceu com um complexo de ser parecido com o pai e se sentir útil na tribo. Quando o pai foi preso o Sokka foi escondido da irmã pra salvar o pai, se arriscando muito. Era o desejo dele salvar o pai e a "namorada" e também cumprir o que pra ele era do dever dele. A questão da Katara é igual, mas o trauma dela é ligado a figura da mãe. Ela literalmente viu o assassino, ela estava na cena e estava com a mãe. Ela sabe que o que aconteceu foi por conta dela ser dominadora e naquele dia ela era pequena, frágil e não poderia fazer nada. A Katara da última temporada não era indefesa, então ela também teve esse complexo de "antes eu não poderia fazer nada, mas agora eu posso" e ela fez. Existe uma facilidade enorme dos fãs em entender os traumas do Zuko, mas falta sensibilidade pra ver os da Katara, Toph e Sokka

“Y’all couldn’t handle a complex character like her” just because she’s complex doesn’t excuse her from criticism. What she said could still be out of line and plain wrong and she could still be a complex character who is loved by money. A complex character does not mean they do no wrong
