generative AI is the kind that everyone’s talking about right now, the one that uses real content to spit out things. discriminative AI was probably what the woman was talking about, it’s used to find patterns, and often doesn’t involve other people’s work without their consent. (this is what i’ve gathered, please correct me if i’m wrong)
