No they get it, they 100% get it, they just don’t care because they don’t view us who work retail as people. They only view us as servants for their own wants and because of that we don’t deserve any sort of human decency in their eyes 🙄

Having a Sunday store meeting it’s 7am. We are interrupted by a customer who pushed the manual doors open and came on in! Shame on whoever didn’t lock the door ( no one admitted it) 😂😂

I work at a pharmacy & we close from 1:30-2pm for lunch. That 30 min is all the pharmacist gets, so when someone comes up at 1:28 and takes 10 minutes, the pharmacist gets a 20 min lunch. Well, someone left a complaint cuz we closed for lunch but didnt help him when he pulled up at 1:31 🫠

My store opens at 10 am, I’m there at 9. One time I was walking around the store cleaning and then heard the ac kick in meaning the doors opened. I look at the time and it’s 9:35 or something. I go to the door and this grandma and grandson pried the door open (granted it’s a finicky door anyway). I say “oh hey guys we’re not actually open yet” gma goes “we know” ……? Do you????

It’s not just the hours. Any sign will be ignored. I used to work in a paint department in a hardware store and we had to keep the spray paint locked up because people would test out the paint on whatever they felt like. We even put up signs. While I was unlocking the paint, the customer suggested we put up signs and I pointed to the one less than a foot in front of him🤣

I worked at a furniture store, 30 mins passed close and this couple walks up, all smiles, as I was locking the door, and say, "Oh, we got here just in time!" Me: "We closed a ½hr ago and I need to pick up my kids from daycare or I'm charged extra if I'm late." Them: "Oh, okay."☹️Plot Twist: I didn't have kids at that time.😆

I was the MOD Christmas Eve one year when a lady was doing this. I’d already set the alarm and we were walking out the door and she tried to push in past us. She was livid telling me I was ruining her family’s Christmas.
