If human dess somehow turns canon then this theory that I saw yesterday about the fun gang being the second trio that was in the dark world with Dess, Asriel and Seam being the original fun gang would make even more sense

human dess lines up with my little theory that the soul is dess' and thats why suddenly kris has it. because something happened to dess that pushed her soul out of her body (maybe becoming the knight) and it had to find the nearest human vessel, which was kris.

The biggest thing that kinda disproves Dess being a human is that it’s explicitly stated that little Noelle used to be scared of humans, and that Kris would scare her by hiding under her bed. So why would Noelle be scared of humans if her older sister, which she was seemingly very close to, was a human? Other than that though, we really don’t know enough about her to outright say she’s not a human

It would be so bangers if Dess really is also an adopted human. Other than the theory that Toriel and Carol knows Kris is the hero from the legend, it's a good reason for the holidays and dreemurrs to be so close

I love Toby Fox so much bc I've never seem such a well told story that still leaves enough open for theorizing and everyone has a different idea and nobody's conflicting each other they're just like "I love that idea too". I think something happened in the bunker with dess and Kris and if she is a monster her soul is in Kris and her body became an amalgamation of monster and Titan making the knight.
