To all the people thinking this is to save time … it’s not. It’s to audit everything. A pt reports getting more or less than the label says? Check the video. Security cameras can’t count pills, but this can, and quickly. Tell us time of packaging and who packed it. It’s for oversight.

U guys. This person is just taking excessivly long. I would’ve have done like 3 in the whole time they was doing that. U don’t have to put the whole bottle, u take an estimated pour and by then u only have to like remove 3. 🧍🏽

I could see this being for 270 metformin or gabapentin or any of those ridiculously high pill counts like one time I filled over 800 metformin for a patient but not for small pills and a 90 count because that took you way longer than it would have if you just counted by hand

As an owner/vivid user. I can say that it may take a little longer to count but having the photo, NDC check, and extra inventory control makes it worth it.
