I hear you. I really do. I'm not saying they are completely a lost cause. They need to do a lot of work. A lot of work. I'm not talking about the MAGA cult though. I'm talking about the ones who thought that their fellow citizens losing rights, freedoms, and lives, was an acceptable outcome for no tax on tips or overtime and cheaper eggs... They thought their vote wouldn't impact them negatively. Now that it does, they want to come crying for sympathy and help. I don't want to see anyone suffer, but they were all too willing to watch others suffer for their benefit.

Here in lies the problem, we never see accountability. Look at the civil war, they were permitted to blend back into society and in a few short years of reconstruction, Jim Crow evolved! There MUST BE ACCOUNTABILITY! The US needs to atone for its atrocities; from the annialation of indigenous, to slavery to the working poor, to international affairs. Otherwise we will remain in a vicious cycle!
