If you did actually research. Instead of embarrassing yourself. The dev’s attempted to rush the alpha and post it to get their bonuses. And Krafton wasn’t gonna allow them to publish trash when it was nowhere near ready for release. And the dev’s they fired were never at work and busy with their own projects bub 🙏

Krafton fired the 3 founders of Unknown Worlds because they weren’t actually working on the project, nor were they meeting the deadlines THEY SET. The original planned date for EARLY ACCESS was 2024, the founders pushed it to 2025, they’ve been inactive with the project (despite Krafton asking them to be devoted to the project that is Subnautica 2) and because of this they were fired. Pushing the EA release date to 2026 was a bad move, yes, but stop spreading misinformation. They are paying their employees, and they’re compensating them greatly with the recent command changes causing issues and whatnot. The founders were paid $250 million (half of the amount that was agreed upon) at the very beginning, and they were going to give the other half later down the line.

This is misleading. Krafton has said that the two devs and the President who got fired didn’t do their duties and were sabotaging the company thus firing them. The 250 million is only a theory and isn’t confirmed at all. They also said that the reason as to why the game is delayed is because it doesn’t have much in the open beta that Krafton wants. Just have hope bru, I doubt this will affect subnautica 2 much or at all
