@tayagaukrodger: Had a sweet conversation with Terrell from @Worship Together a few months ago (He's the real deal & I have a funny story to prove it ha #wintersnow #wateripes #earlyAM #kindneighbour) It was an conversation about Jesus, worship and life. "Not that I have already grasped it all or have already become perfect, but I press on if I may also take hold of that for which I was even taken hold of by Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:12, NASB I think Paul states it better than I could, I have in no way perfected this surrendered life but I pray that the honesty would encourage your heart as you lean in and choose to keep saying yes to Jesus, the Author, perfector and finisher of our faith. That said, I sometimes stupidly fight Jesus' invitation to 'come,' getting distracted, burdened and weighed down by that which He has not asked me to carry, or in the least, not the way that I am. I wrote a song about it and I am still learning that His yoke is easy and His burden, light. Thank you for carrying the weight Lord and I am beyond grateful for that and Your patience as I learn how to surrender, come and walk with You.
