just more extortion, those things will read from anywhere in the vehicle that's not intentionally RFID blocked, know a guy who mailed his ex's across the country when they broke up and it cost her something like $80 from getting read inside the FedEx semi trailer

what about rental cars using your own pass. they don't have the sticky tape to apply your own pass. EZ pass sucks for using it in any other car than your own unlike other passes like sunpass down south

It tells you to affix it under the rear view mirror on the windshield. I never had any issue with mine since I started using it from 2014 to now. The transponder comes with instructions on how to mount it and where to mount it. You can request free adhesives! Sometimes, us Americans hate to follow simple instructions because we hate to be told what to do..

That location can impact the car safety mechanisms if you have anything like driver assist that helps avoid collisions, in Texas I have something mounted to my license plate bc of this

what about when the battery died and it's an E-ZPass issue and not my issue? I rent the pass as they charge me every month a fee. so if it's not reading it's probably a battery failure.
