I have been on this road now for over 30 years, people I have put first before myself, gone out of my way to help and support, mentally, financially to go the extra mile for them but when I have needed just for someone to listen to me, just to give me a reassuring hug and not judge, I have been met with absolute silience, alone in the night, crying hurting so deeply feeling so alone, a nobody, a ghost feeling worthless, but I still smile I still help but I can’t wait for my final breath on this life, that’s when I will finally feel peace with this cruel world ❤️
