@keetolipedema: Stage 1 Lipedema is so often misdiagnosed as cellulite. Either that or women are told to exercise more and eat a healthy diet (as if we haven’t already been trying that for years😒) All of the visible symptoms I displayed above are some of the early signs of lipedema, at a stage 1. I was diagnosed about 6 months ago. Some of the other symptoms I experience: -Poor circulation! My legs and arms are always freezing -Aching pain, tenderness with pressure, and heaviness, especially at the end of the day -Mental health impacts (depression, fear, embarrassment) It’s so important to take care of ourselves, physically and mentally.
