This is beautiful parenting. Our children understands what we say to them, when we go to their level and talk with them. How often an adult will listen to anyone screaming? They will leave, block their ears or just ignore them, but no one will or can or should be listening to shouting. Thank you for sharing this video💜

I told her I’m sorry I’m not buying that toy but we can add it to your wishlist. Offered a hug. Denied and scream at the top of her lungs. It was bad. And her poor dad froze. I kept walking got to the front asked her if she wanted to choose her snack or no. She did and she helped scan the items as we were leaving she asked again. And I said no. She cried but no more yelling then we got in the car and she knocked out 😂 so idk if I handle that the way I should’ve but they don’t happen often 😩

Thank you for this, my parents were definitely the kind who were convinced that kids are little master manipulators who are always trying to “win” and “get their way” when things like this happened. I’m glad to see this kind of parenting appear more and more instead

I’m a Grandma now. I remember my daughter having a full blown temper tantrum in public. I picked her up and we left the store and went home. Cart left that was it. She never had a tantrum again.
