The 1987 flood on the Guadalupe River resulted in 10 fatalities, including teenagers from a summer camp in the Hill Country who were attempting to evacuate when a wall of water swept them away. This event bears a tragic resemblance to a more recent flood event in the same area. I wish reporters called him out on his lies.

I live 30 minutes from the flooding above San Antonio. We received flash floods messages all day that day and even the next day. We get them regularly. It’s a normal thing in Texas. We are always warned. It comes in like an amber alert.
