I cant stand the nonstop persistent scammer tactics today.. every once in a while i fill out a ton of online applications and sign up for clickbait subscriptions using bogus personal info & location pins just to lead these ppl into a dead end

I got one the other day but checked my actual Amazon account instead of clicking the link. went back to the email and deleted it after I realized nothing changed...I was confused but didn't really think anymore about it after that 🤷🏼♀️thanks for throwing this out!

I have a different scam that happened with Amazon. I submitted a 1 star review and then got a text that says they are sorry about the product and keep it but no return necessary. I am so good about watching for scam but I happened to be in the midst of communicating with Amazon at the time of the text so clicked without thinking. And I know better!! Anyway, turned off WiFi, cellular, powered down phone, and then changed Amazon password.

I just check the app that’s claiming there’s an issue instead of clicking the link. I also check the email address before doing anything

They just send me an email that says it’s up for renewal but my payment method isn’t right. Jokes on them, I did a yearly subscription and it’s not due until next year

I got one from Amazon last week but not an email. Mine I got was a text message saying that I had something that was recalled and I received a refund but didn't need to return the item and asked me to click on a link. I didn't click on the link at all. I googled if there was a scam with Amazon and texting. Weird thing is my text message disappeared before I could report and delete.
