personal branding is such a JOURNEY. ESPECIALLY if we’re dealing with building a brand amidst a life transition (as so many of us are!) maybe you’ve just left your corporate job. maybe you’ve just become a parent. maybe you’re pivoting your business. & sometimes, embodying that brand on stories can feel like another thing that we don’t understand, or have time for. so let’s demystify some of that, shall we?? AND- remember that it’s never that serious, & we can have some fun!! so onto the nitty gritty: On the surface level, your IG stories should emulate the same aesthetic your brand mood board feels like. Not to say that every story has to be the most aesthetic photo you’ve ever taken, not at all (mine are far from that!), more so that they generally should be in the same family aesthetic wise. Let’s paint that picture: 🖤 if your branding is giving moody, romantic, earthy vibes, then your stories will be in the same extended family as that vibe Thinking lowering your exposure + capturing moments that have deep, rich tones this could look like your coffee in the morning, the dark grey of your laptop, whatever is authentic to you! 💚 and if your branding is giving natural, organic, airy, then your stories could follow the same path thinking lighter exposure, brighter moments, etc! this might be shots from your morning walk, light catching on your mirror, whatever catches your eye that builds the story.
