And here I’ve been needlessly wasting time doing it correctly.

Lube tech here, we lift cars and suvs all day using pinch welds, only on trucks do we use frame. These comments have never heard of lift points

Pinch welds are perfectly fine to lift most vehicles, they’re the specified jack points for a lot of cars

That puck needs a pin on the bottom to put in place of the other. I wouldn’t trust that to not slip and drop a car on me

All the people saying use the frame, have never looked under their car. cars dont have frames anymore. they are a unibody. the car itself IS the frame.

How well does it hold up being aluminum though? Also does it fit all cars/trucks or just a few that fit the gap got the product? Some vehicles like dodge have pinch welds that protrude in some spots, so I’m wondering if it will do all cars/trucks. Also how well does it hold reliably where I don’t need to worry about the jack slipping.

I personally have seen many vehicles just push in from putting the jack on the weld points there are slots cut out for the jack and has been reinforced under it by manufacturers
