Scott confirmed that the books have no correlation to the direct timeline that we know and love since pretty much 2014. Any book that’s made since silver eyes and forward is based off of a non cannon timeline. Scott tried to give it attention by saying it is “cannon in its own way” but it is not the thing we’ve all like for so long. Don’t let people fool you. For clarification the games are cannon and the books are not. Therefore they are irrelevant. There’s no need to study them and the minuet that the original timeline ends and we focus on the books timeline is the moment that the franchise will be worse than the sad excuse of a movie that we got.
