I put in my birth plan that anything they need to do to her is to be done in the room with me unless they 100% have to take her out they let dad go with her. One of us will have an eye on her. I will throw a fit if they ignore that.

As a postpartum nurse, I welcome all parents to come by the procedure room to watch me do testing on your baby. We are not going to steal your baby. Each baby has a security tag on an ankle, which are very sensitive. Cameras everywhere. You need a special badge to have access to the unit. I accidentally loosened the security tag too much when it was tight on a baby and security was on the unit so fast along with all alarms going off. Staff are trained on what to when we hear that alarm. I’m sure no nurse would risk all that time in nursing school & a 6 figure job that they love doing. We love our job and being able to help you and your baby ♥️

i woke up and my baby was gone. they took her for a jaundice test and never told me because i was sleeping. i was so exhausted i didnt even have the energy to scream at them i just bawled my eyes out. i think that scared them enough 😂

when my baby came back with a completely different outfit on and they said " oh she was so cute the nurses played with her" and I flipped out because she was in NICU and they fr played with my baby and clothes. she didnt leave me after that

4 kids. 4 times I had went everywhere they took my babies. one really try to say I couldn't come in the nursery. I said well I need to talk to the doctor then. all of a sudden I was allowed.

Ya, no one is taking the baby out of the room. I've read too many weird nurse stories...intentionally switching babies, injecting them with stuff, giving them meds you have refused. Nope!
