Get a wool pad a polisher and set to 1500-2000 rpm’s with 3m marine oxidation cut and it will be gloss. I used the 9 inch pad and polisher from harbor freight

Try not to use clorox, it's bad for the gel coat and can eat through it and cause your hardware to rust/corrode.
