To clear up the hate on Cavil and why it exists. This is all allegedly, sources have said the reason he lost Superman and why he looks so emotionless in the movies is bc he wouldn't stop drinking. The drinking issue got to the point they had to cgi on his face to some of the scenes because he was plastered and slurring his words. The reason he lost the Witcher is bc of his very inappropriate relationship with the actress who played Ciri. I'm sure creative differences were at play here too. Though the actress has denied it, others stated otherwise as he could face legal trouble as she was underage at the start of filming the Witcher. Allegedly, they have to have him film in different countries where the legal age of consent is lower so he doesn’t get in trouble or so producers aren't held responsible for his actions. The same allegations were also brought up with Millie Bobbie Brown on the set of Enola Holmes and people claim he was also in a relationship with her as well. Again actress has denied this, but them denying it doesn't mean its not true. It means they could of signed an NDA, took a settlement, or their agent adviced them to not rock the boat. Either way this is just the surface of allegations. There are so many it is impossible to deny something is going on.
