Just planted bloomstruck hydrangeas. They are mostly in the shade but get direct sun in the early morning, maybe for only an hour or so. I’m in zone 7A. Is the lack of sun going to be an issue?

There are a lot of clearance hydrangeas by me, annabells I believe that have blooms some have big blooms and generally look healthy still but is it too late to plant them? I wanna snag them before someone else finds them but I’m worried about the heat and if it’s too close to winter to plant! I’m in zone 7 in ny!

What if you have a newly (this season) plant and the leaves are now dry and shriveled up. Do we cut them off? I do see new blooms starting on the branches but the current leaf foliage looks terrible.

Hi! I’m in zone 10a/10b, and am wondering how to get my hydrangeas to grow bigger and “bushier” for next year. Do I just dead head them, or not prune them at all? I have the usual blue bigleaf variety!
