I think the funniest part for me is the nuclear level meltdowns they’re having over a single small criticism or observation, meanwhile they’ve been roasting millennials entire existence as being cringe for YEARS 😂😂

It's a result of poor socialization and a decline in social skills in general. My guess is it has a lot to do with most of us being chronically online and I just think the pandemic made it even worse.

it actually is driving me nuts watching people misunderstand, especially customer service employees, because i’m gen z but have been out of school and in the workforce since 2018 and the gen z stare is REAL. so many of us cannot talk to people in real life and its scary to me

it’s hard to divert from the social script when you’re constantly out of energy in your “social battery” from constant bad faith interactions with bosses, peers, landlords, who take advantage of us being young during a time where we have less financial mobility than any of the people who aren’t just starting out while also considering that we might have to leave our communities or country for safety

This makes more sense!! I introduced myself to someone who applied for a job and came in for an interview. She stared at me blank. I asked “you are here for the interview right?” She stared more and then nodded.

I went through a drive through last week to get food and the gen z girl just opened the window and stared at me. I was like… “hi? I’m picking up an order for KB” and she CLOSED THE WINDOW WITHOUT A WORD AND WENT TO GET IT. lmfaooo and it’s always that same girl at the window and she does it every time.

As someone who has worked with and befriended gen z to boomers. gen z are the ones you'll ask to wash some dishes and they will stand there staring blankly at the water going down the drain for 17 whole minutes without even washing a single dish not moving at all (gen z stare) and then they FINALLY speak and look at someone like "how do I keep the water in the sink?" "why is the hot water not working anymore its just cold now?" They're going to be the next boomers I swear 🤦😂

Im young gen z and when ever someone starts a conversation with me that i didn’t start i kinda get thrown off because i wasn’t expecting a conversation, also im a bit annoyed because like why are you talking to me rn its a big reason why I wear headphones everyday too 😅
