Just shedding some light on positive age gaps! My bf and I have about 12 years! I have never met someone who cares about me and loves me as much as he does and vice versa. We also met organically, not on a dating app which helps. He is truely the love of my life and brings about the best in me always 🥰

Couldn’t agree more. I only ever dated older - biggest age gap was 11 years. If I didn’t meet my now partner, we have a 7y age gap, I would’ve probably switched to dating younger. My partner now is one of a kind 😂🥰

I think age gaps when you're in your early twenties are the worst. you are SO different to a 30 year old in your early twenties. there always ends up being a power imbalance, and you end up being forced to speed up your life to slot into theres. feel like this can end up causing abusive and manipulative dynamics. even at 30, I would never date someone more than 5 years older than me, and even that's a push. I just feel like you're in different stages and moments in your life to compliment each other well. I know all this can happen too when you date similar ages, but I personally think its way more common in age gaps
