fasting can be anything really it can be giving up something. it can be giving up something like coffee it can be giving up something like sugar. it can be a true fast where you don't eat and drink only water. some people have fasted like that for 3 days. I can't make it past 24 hours with no food. but I have done a 21-day Daniel fast which is all fruits and vegetables. water. nothing processed no animal products. you'd be amazed how good you feel even after the first week. not just healthwise. but you have to be in prayer. and you need to be reading your Bible and studying. pick something and study it. and really just focus just on that and focus mainly on your prayer.
