most people don't play the game as their job and only have time for a few games per day. if the game seems lost, some people just want out so they can try to get a win in before they have to get off. I'd like to see stats on how often a major losing position actually turns around and wins. can't be that high.

I'm ex-GM (work busy) and never vote yes to surrender, and here's why. It's not just about a game being winnable, I enjoy playing league regardless of my win likelihood. It's about switching up your framing and not being sad with 50% of your games because you lose.
