If the students at your school with 3.7uw+/ similar caliber regularly test under 1500, the curriculum is likely extremely easy or there is crazy grade inflation

absolutely, test optional was supposed to be a temporary thing for kids during covid who would be testing in a more stressed environment with less access to resources because they lost time to learn in school, but now it just doesnt make sense

the only thing the SAT is good at predicting is your families income. Having a high gpa shows you put in a lot of effort to school and go above and beyond if you have over a 4.0.

This is lowkey true because in my class they taught the material for the test but if u just talked to the teacher and made up like 4 assignments you would get a A
