I've had 5.y two OGs and our youngest are left. My old girls are 7 and 8, and I fucking love them. But once they're gone, and our youngest who is 5 is gone, I'm DONE. They're amazing, but they require such insane dedication and I honestly don't think I can ever do it again.

do lots of research before you ever get a pet but esp exotics like ferrets. they get into everything and many when they start getting older have health issues. they're def worth it but it's def a commitment to make sure you get the right types of litter , food, cage if you ever cage them, plus ferret proof your house it is a lot lol and vet bills aren't cheap I miss my 2 but I do not miss the bills towards the end of their lives one had cancer one had sugar problems like diabetes for ferrets which are common issues with a lot of them

You only have to deal with their ferrel side for about 6 hours because they sleep for 18 hours a day

💯 Can't even explain how much time & effort it was to potty train & bite train mine 😳 I had zero idea when i got them. I'm so lucky that i actually had the time to dedicate to it
