Takopi’s Original Sin isn’t just a story about a cute alien trying to help it’s a quiet scream for all the pain kids are forced to carry alone. Shizuka didn’t need a miracle, she needed someone to notice. Takopi didn’t understand human sadness, but he gave everything trying to erase it. That’s what makes it hurt so deeply because sometimes, love isn't enough to save someone. This manga/show doesn’t end with justice or revenge. It ends with a soft, aching hope that maybe one act of kindness, even if it comes too late, can still matter. It reminds us that behind every smile could be a storm, and sometimes the people who try to save others are the ones breaking inside the most.

UNPOPULAR OPINION (for some reason) I hate the glaze about this anime. It gets much more credit than it should, pacing is complete garbage and some scenes don't even make sense but because of "terrifying" events people forget to think about stupidity of storytelling in it. I understand why you worship this, but if we're being real — it's an absolute mid of an anime

this anime is like Evangelion, if you don't understand it, it can look boring, but is a gem on all terms. The message that wants to tell, the history, the characters personality, animation, etc. takopi no genzai is a wonderful anime and it can be scary sometimes of the reality that reflects on it. Think about all the kids, adolescent, even adultos that their life look like that, think how cruel the world can be, think about how the fathers can corrupt a innocent child because they didnt wanted to have a child, think about it.
