Superman didn’t save the people in the courthouse because the bomb was hidden inside a lead-lined wheelchair, and lead blocks his X-ray vision so he literally couldn’t see it. The explosion happened so fast, he had no time to react. But honestly, I think the scene was more about showing how lost and helpless he felt. He’s this powerful being, but even he can’t save everyone. You can see it in his face the guilt, the shock. It broke him. And that’s exactly what Lex Luthor wanted: to make the world, and especially Batman, see Superman as a threat.

in Xmen apocalypse quicksilver heard the explosion in the x mansion from the road OUTSIDE the mansion and still succeeded to save like 100+ people from the mansion in less then a second yet superman didn’t save a single person while being directly next to the bomb😭🙏

Bomb Made by lead wich he can’t see through and as he said in the movie he was going through a lot of bad events and pressure that didn’t help him notice a bomb being there and oh yeah he’s not fast enough to save anyone at that explosion speed , James Gunn glazers just wanna hate for nothing
