Am5 is stopping in 2027-28.i can built a good am4 budget build and then upgrade to am6 in three years, why spend more on a mobo, ram and cpu with am5, to only get a 20% improvement then?

I mean, I’ve never struggled with planning a build but I also went to school for this. You can get a really clean custom loop build for pretty cheap if you plan things out right, especially if you have multiple PCs in the same location for whatever reason. And as long as you aren’t doing hardline, a custom loop is actually pretty easy to put together yourself as long as you are willing to do some research and watch some videos.
