@gcsogreenvillesc: Every year, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office proudly hosts the Marcus Whitfield Youth Camp, an incredible week created in honor of our very own Deputy Marcus Whitfield, who gave his life in the line of duty in August 1999. 💙 Deputy Whitfield had a heart for the youth in our community, and his legacy lives on through this camp. Thanks to the continued support of his parents, generous donors, and our dedicated deputies, this program gives young people a chance to learn, grow, and thrive. From team-building activities and life skill lessons to forging friendships and, of course, having a whole lot of fun — the Marcus Whitfield Youth Camp is a powerful reminder of what community can do when we come together.
