Taking snaps under the center is more conducive to the older styles of offense. These new guys are way to athletic and offer more of a threat with their legs (Josh,Lamar, JD5). Pistol is the new under the center and offers more versatility.

Eyes down field , defense is thin , pick your foot in the dirt and downhill running lanes . Played tailback in the eye, coached the pistol and sidecar , couldn’t have imagined playing with a 5 or 6 man box . Those 5/4 boxes were a bitch
