OR, just OR check your freon pressure and clean the condenser and maybe if needed replace fan clutch. all this does is avoid the problem. I have a 2000 s10 that had the same problem in 100 degree heat and all I did was drain my freon and after pulling a vacuum and replacing drier, added the correct amount back. fixed the issue and didnt hide it.
