Your dad is right. I had My 2 boys, now in their 20’s, in soccer, baseball and football. They hated them all and ended up loving track and cross country. They’re the best men I know. They’ll find their groove!❤️

You will do great! I am certain you will naturally play ball with your son...rolling it back & forth. Then, tossing it gently and encouraging him even if he misses. So many of us yearned for a dad who would just play catch with us, who didn't get angry at a missed catch or a bad throw. We wanted this so much more than we ever wanted to play in organized sports. (By "we", I mean me.)

This is so true. Your son may be into sports, or he may not. You expose him to different experiences and see what interests him. My daughter was never keen to ride a bike, so at some point I reminded myself that not everyone rides a bike 🤷🏻♀️
