My kids get awful carsick when we drive long distances. Any type of looking down, tablet or anything else, is a no no. We do car games where they look outside ONLY. Lol

My nephew gets his tablet every time his parents and grandparents put him in the car even for little drives. He never gets it when I take him. And you know what? He does fantastic! We listen to music and he dances in his car seat, he looks out the window and points out all the places he knows, I talk to him and ask him engaging questions that he can answer (he’s mostly nonverbal so yes or no things). And he listens better because he isn’t in screen time zombie mode.
