More proof that people stop seeing mothers as PEOPLE the moment they give birth. Huda isn’t my favorite of all time but it’s been clear how much she loves her daughter. And if using my kid’s summer vacation aka time with her dad to try to make some money, set myself up for future ad campaigns & partnerships PLUS maybe win a 100k is a bad thing I don’t want to be right 🤷🏽♀️

Ok but what about jobs that you have to leave for weeks or months at a time? Dads do this all the time. I think what these people are mad at, is the way our society is set up and that we don’t have any real sense of village anymore and mothers are expected to do it all, all the time. You’re mad because of your learned expectations of mothers not at Huda.

Am I the only one who thinks she shouldn’t be there? Sorry but, I feel like once you become a mom, there’s just some things you shouldn’t do anymore. And leaving your small child for 6 weeks for a reality show and missing her last first day of school falls into that category.

Being away from her daughter for two months must be hard but she’s coming out of the villa more successful than any other islander. Huda took an opportunity than not many people are given so that she can give her daughter the best life possible. And some of you think she should have turned down that opportunity simply because she’s a mother. How many of you would keep that mindset for a father choosing the same path?
