I think when the churches stopped holding people accountable for communion, we lost all sense of Christianity…cause anyone can claim Christian, baptism, etc and be “in” the club….and then we got rid of excommunication…so there were no punishments for people who needed to be kicked out.

I generally don't believe in invalidating someone's faith based on their sins/ decisions because faith is a very personal journey, and most religions have the concept of "only god can judge" and "anyone can be redeemed" but straight up flat out if someone says "I'm Christian" and "I voted for Trump in the 2024 Election" straight up, and flat out they're not Christian.
